The Mineral Mining Services (MMS) project is our second with Axiom. The design is a clean and bright look and feel, packed with good information architecture and a high degree of site-wide cross linking. the overall structure is typical of a primary producer type company, though without any of the investor centre content required by the ASX.

Some features of this site

• Parallax hero and feature images with watermark and overlay shading – allowing the uploaded hero image to scroll at a different rate to the page content, creates an extra depth to the page on scroll.
• Sticky Sub-menu – interior pages within a given section can be easily navigated thanks to the left hand submenu’s continued presence on the page during scroll, without blocking any content.
• Smooth transitions on page elements to fade in and move into position – multiple elements on each page fading into view with an additional transformation to gently slide it into place as it comes into the browser window view

Initial Source Materials

The design was provided via Figma with high-level mockups of all principal site pages. Only a single mobile mockup was required to guide most of the mobile responsive break-down for the rest of the site.

Our Build

The design is spacious, clean and bright. A lot of animation has been applied throughout the site, making use of our low impact, css animation library. The following gif shows the general experience moving throughout the website’s content.

• Job Listings – a simple plugin for creating job listings, requirements with visibility start and end dates as well as a link to an external location for more details.
